PROVIDUS launched the biannual report Corruption °C in order to create a new tool to achieve constant assessment of anti-corruption policies and promote on-going public pressure for the effective implementation of these policies in Latvia. The core idea is to prepare and publish a biannual “Report on Corruption and Anticorruption Policy in Latvia”. The report consists of an analytical assessment of corruption situation and anti-corruption efforts (governmental and non-governmental) in Latvia and changes thereof. Each report focuses primarily on the six months preceding its preparation and the first issue covered the first six months of 2005. The key attributes of the report are high quality analysis, systematic and non-partisan approach. The main target groups of these reports are people who shape anticorruption policies in Latvia as well as everyone interested in how Latvia deals with this social ill.
